I’m not much of a blogger – I try periodically to conjure a few words here and there, mostly about the books I read, the gigs I attend, or the things that happen in my day to day, but my life doesn’t fall into the Action/Thriller genre.
I often see swans on my way to work – I count that as a highlight. Sometimes a curious looking Duck inflitrates the canal (if ducks can truly be said to look curious), perhaps questioning his place in the grand scheme of things (life, the universe and everything… as a wise man once siad).
I’ve a lot of sympahty for any duck (or swan) who’s unsure of what their purpose in the canal is – my day job is in finance afterall, which can hardly be described as a vocation for persons with bank accounts containing less than six zeros.
Today though I discovered that first novel ‘A Certain Kind of Sense’ is available to order on presale.
That counts as news – I can only wonder if the Duck knew about it before I did.
